Darrin Henson, Hollywood’s most sought after Hip Hop star returns to San Jose June 28. If you missed his awesome workshop in March, you definitely don't want to miss out again!

Darrin Henson “Choreographer To The Stars” performed with Michael Jackson at the MTV Video Music Awards prior to becoming his choreographer. He also worked with former Miss America Vanessa Williams, who proclaimed Darrin Henson “the hottest choreographer around.” Darrin directed, choreographed and designed stage shows and concerts for such artists as NSYNC, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, New Kids on the Block, Jordan Knight, and Jennifer Lopez -- just to name a few. Darrin previously won the coveted MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography for the music video "Bye Bye Bye" by NSYNC.

Darrin has developed successful strategies to teaching dance and he brings it to his students with passion. DARRIN’S DANCE GROOVE WORKSHOP went International to such countries as the United Kingdom, Iceland, Japan, Germany, France, and China. His instructional dance video, DARRIN’S DANCE GROOVES, sold over 4 million copies. He is widely known for his innovative choreography featured on several music awards including American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Soul Train Music Awards and Blockbuster Music Awards.

Henson increased his repertoire by directing the movie Violation. Darrin has been able to outdo himself by continuing to breathe new life into the routines and moves of today's hottest singing talents by providing them with his unique vision and style. Darrin believes that working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be lots of fun! Dancing is the answer to loosing weight and getting in shape. He wants to assist people in achieving their goal by showing them that they can “Get in the Groove and into Shape.” He wants to share this information with as many people as he can and be instrumental in getting them to “livet” as opposed to “diet.”

Much more than just a talented Dancer, Choreographer, Actor, Producer and Director, Henson is a true soldier in the entertainment game. He has extended his tenure by drawing on his talents to reinvent himself time and again. Henson balances life and industry with ease by valuing his privacy, trusting his abilities and remaining humble in his success.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Music Video style dance (Hip Hop). If you want to learn the latest dances and hottest styles, Darrin will show you how to do the moves from the latest competitions and cutting edge dancers. Get prepared and stay prepared with Darrin Henson!

Following the workshops, Darrin will be available for private sessions to groups of 3-5 people.

Please include an email address with your payment. We will send you an email note to verify receipt of your payment and your name will be added to a list at the door. If you don't have an email address or prefer not to supply one, please include your phone number so we may confirm receipt of your payment. Any payments not received before the workshop cannot be verified and cannot be honored as pre-payments.

Halanda Pass Holders:
Halanda Pass holders may take 10% discount off the relevant cost. Halanda Pass must be valid at the time of Workshop. When paying in advance, please pay full price; discount will be refunded at the door upon presentation of a current Halanda Pass.

Registration Policies:

Payments are refundable through May 31 only. Thereafter, payments are non-refundable and may be refunded only in the event the workshop is cancelled. To request a refund, please contact Halanda Studio no later than midnight of May 31.
Registration is transferable to another student, but you must inform Halanda Studio (preferably by phone) of this arrangement at least 24 hours prior to the workshop.
